Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer based test conducted by AICTE in the month of January. The CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA score forms one of the main eligibility criteria to get entrance in most of the B-Schools, followed by the candidate’s performance in screening and Personal Interview round of the respective B-schools. CMAT is a three hour test which comprises of four sections:
Each section has 25 questions. For every right question there are 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Any Graduates with 50% or equivalent are eligible for this test. Final year students can also appear for CMAT; admission is subject to their clearing the eligibility criteria. Students can register for this test by filling up Application Form for CMAT, available on the AICTE official website. The test is conducted in 63 cities across India including Ahmedabad. St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies (SKIPS) has also been one of the test centres for CMAT since the last 3 years, playing a vital role in successfully conducting CMAT test in Ahmedabad.
